Wagion Lodge #6

Religious Services Committee Update

Dearest brothers,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father. The Religious Services Committee is so excited to serve the Lodge and God in creating a cheerful, servant minded, reverent Brotherhood. We have much work to do this year and welcome your input at anytime.

We are proud to announce our new 2017 Chairman Robert Dekinger. He and I will be working in tandem in the coming months.

The committee at the April Weekend after lunch at 1pm will be working on assessing service needs relating to the committee, including Hagan’s Chapel, The Catholic Altar, and future memorials. If you are interested in helping in this, please contact me at anytime.

The committee will be holding a short Devotional time before Saturday Colors to pray over the lodge’s needs and have a short meditation. This will be an unstructured time with no commitments needed. This is meant to be a positive start to our day. All are welcome to attend. As well, the nondenominational Scout’s Own Services this Lodge Year will focus on our “Duty to God.” We have new and exciting ideas for these services. We as a committee are continuing to change how we worship to grow as Scouts. If you have any suggestions for how we worship and pray, please contact us at anytime.

Also,
ANY MUSICIANS ARE WELCOME TO LEAD OUR HYMNS, PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Lastly, if you have any thought provoking comments for the committee, contact me at cdrewanddevon@yahoo.com!

God Bless You!

Sincerely in WWW,
