About our web site

Welcome to these web pages dedicated to Wagion Lodge #6, Order of the Arrow and the Boy Scouts of America. The Order of the Arrow is a special program within the Boy Scouts. Its principal purposes are to honor scouts and scouters who exemplify the scout oath and law, promote camping, and to build habits of helpfulness in young men.

Boy scouting itself is geographically divided into local councils. Depending on the population density, a council might be the size of a large city, or a large portion of a state. Each council has its own OA "lodge". The purpose of the lodge is to support that council and its camping program.

This web page is dedicated to the 6th oldest lodge in the nation! Wagion Lodge is part of Westmoreland-Fayette council, located in South-Western Pennsylvania. Wagion is very proud of it's 85 years of heritage.
