“Don’t worry that the world will end today; it’s already tomorrow in Australia.” While this quote is true what should be our concern is that this next lodge year is approaching quickly and we need to be prepared to seize it and make it the best one we’ve witnessed in 90 years. Remember, we won’t be able to accomplish many, if any, or our exciting goals without a strong foundation in leadership. This not only includes your newly elected officers, but chairmen and their advisers as well, but most importantly, you. How can you help make this year one to be remembered? Please consider any of the following ways (these are just a few):
Contact me (my information can be found in the T-Bird) if you are interested (or no longer interested) in serving the lodge as a chairmen next year. Also, remember this is an enormous undertaking and commitment on your part. However, I assure you the experience is greatly worth all the time and effort that you’re instating in the lodge in the upcoming months.
Give us your input. Did you like the activities, snacks, schedule the past weekend. On what can we improve? What should we keep the same?
Come and join us. Make your best effort to attend lodge functions and other related events. A weekend couldn’t possibly be successful if just a few “important” Arrowmen arrived. This includes Lodge Executive Meetings (LEC) and business meetings.
Get involved! Even if you’d been in the lodge for many years try to find another way to get involved that you’re not already used to, or simply more involved. Additionally, encourage others, especially newer members, to find a role in the lodge. Whether this is joining a new committee or simply providing cheerful service, it’s all vital the outcome of this upcoming year.
Overall, get excited to be part of Wagion’s 91st year of service; we already have many ideas we can’t wait to announce in the coming days! Are you ready to take a leap in service?
-Your chief-elect,
Robbie L.

I’ve tried a few times to get a hold of you, but it seems all I’m getting is an answering machine.
Is there some specific time of day you’d be home to call?
Thanks!
